Boost your BHP for £140

As most of you know I've been selling the parts from my dismantled 300ZX. Theres one part I'm VERY suprised I havn't sold yet. I'm on about my catylitic converters.

What I thought someone would want to do is buy my Cats, punch out the inside of it (thats the bit that reduces the BHP) and then put them on their car. You could then keep your original cats in case you need them to pass the emmissions test on the MOT. I know some people put custom made through pipes in place of the cats, but as far as I know (some people disagree) this breaks the law, which I believe states that a car sold new with a cat, has to keep its cat, even if it was new before they were compulsory. Keeping a set of cats on the car, with the inside punched out will get around this problem. But I don't suggest anyone does this without having a spare set, just in case the MOT emmissions laws change or if you tax disc fee ever gets based on emmissions.

Anyway, I think its a good idea and I only want £140 for the pair.

I can't guarentee the legality of this idea, so don't blame me if you have any problems :-). As far as I know you'll get another 30BHP out of your car. Everyone I know who has done it has remarked on an obvious increase in power, especailly at lower revs.
