just got back with me mate who has just bught a 300zxtt and on the way back done a standing start you now what i mean when i was realy supprised as mine is a n/a zx300 with apex induction & powerflow exhaust and ther was no or next to no difference to a100 or there abouts :dance: . i felt good but now thinking hes bought a slow one .

what do you guys think.

Sounds like he's bought a slow one. I have an NA too but its no match for a TT. Mind you, its been a while since i was in a TT so i might be wrong :p

Mine was slow when I bought it. Turned out to be a faulty knock sensor which puts it into safety boost mode (7psi instead of 9). Also the air filters looked like they'd been in there since 1990! It was a different car after that.

You'd be shocked at the amount of Zeds for sale that are running is safety boost without the owners realising.

mmm cheers now on a downerrrrr will have to tell him cheers guys

don't forget the N/A has shorter gearing so that also helps. Try it from a 40mph roll and see how they compare then

 

reread post - TT probably has a problem too though!
