Hey guys.

Got some sparco wheels on my z and the nuts seem to need some sort of big allen key to get them off coz a socket wont go over them. Is this normal on a z coz ive never seen this before and i dont want to seem stupid but i want to know how to get my wheels off?

Sound like locking nuts.

You should have a key with it.

I have sparco wheels as well and I had to find a fairly slim socket to get the wheel nuts off as the holes they are recessed into are fairly slim, do you have a picture so we can see what you are talking about?

Mine have similar nuts, I was given a big allen key, which fits into a socket to remove them.

Barry.

from memory you need a 12mm allen key type tool....................the best style for wheelnuts are the ones that are fitted in sockets allowing you to use a torque wrench to sort...........

Thanks guys. My wheels look the same as your ones suffolkzx and they have really slim recess holes. It does look like i could fit a 12mm allen key in the nut so where would i get one of those from?

mine is a slim 17mm socket fitted on the end of a short extension bar, then a caner bar or normal ratchet handle.
