Its been a long journey, one last injection of cash into the old zed

Well its been an interesting 7 months with my zed, with highs and lows of all kinds!! over 10 grand spent on the project so far (including buying the thing) which is small money compared to some of the cars on here but big money for me!!! :headvswal

With all my tinkering and messing the poor old girl still isnt right and needs some proper TLC, so I've booked her in with baggins for one last shot at getting it right!! Going for some decent servicing, unorthodox pulley, new PCVs, compression test, good checking over and if its all in one piece a boost upgrade, remapped ecu and boost, water temp and oil pressure guages fitted.... gonna set me back nigh on another grand but what the hell!! its a last ditch effort to finally get her back on her feet and running sweet again...

fingers crossed, it will all go well and no other major problems will arise!!

Wish me luck!! :D

Good luck me old cocker! :D

I'm sure it'll be fine!

Good luck mate- from your join date I presume you got yours after I got mine, and I've done sweet FA to it! So at least you've done stuff :)

Hope you stick with it...

I REALLY REALLY want to stick with it, its a great car, when its working, been off the road more than on since I've had it though, gets kinda frustrating! :)

Im confident Ryan will sort it out though, I've been having bad thoughts about selling/breaking it and getting an s14... bad bad bad....

:slap: for the first bit!

But that said, my mate bought an S14 when I got my Zed, and TBH I'd seriously consider it if going through the whole thing again. 4 cylinders in 1 block and a newer car. Less likely to go wrong, and when it does it's half the cost! Not to mention fuel consumption ... :(

:x: What am I saying?! :nelson: The Zed has my heart. Maybe the S14 is a great car and cheaper to run/mod, but the Zed has to be one of the best looking cars on the road. And it feels great. The Zed is a muscley GT; the S14 is just a fancy saloon. :D
