Yeah :headvswall: probably a good idea. Why didnt I think of that!

Last time I went to nissan they sent my key out for cutting, suppose each dealership is different.

Yes - I'm sure the dealership didn't cut it themselves. I also bought the key from them and they had it cut based on the chassis number of the car..

Mmm... it was 8 years ago when I had mine done  That's when you could buy 'em over the counter (cost me just over 70 squid IIRC)

and quite a few on ebay.COM

Its been ages since any of these were appearing on Ebay..and now several are available at a time. There was a Guy in the US who started selling these a few months ago after sorting out a supplier/manufacturer , and presumably thats where these are coming from.

Yep, Timpson can cut these (cost me around £3.50 when I had one cut for a customer (summer last year)).

The key is OEM, I know cos im the one thats selling it, had 3 this is the last one, your local keycutter can cut them from your normal key but if possible I would suggest you get it done from the Chassis Number at Nissan to be sure its right. If your not sure of the quality ask Chris@GetGReddy as he had one (hope you dont mind me using you here Chris)
