Bailey Dump Valves

Fitted a set of these to my motor on the weekend and must say im very please with the result. Not too loud and NO MORE GOOSEHONK YAY. :) :dance:

Yeah have a Bailey dumper on my Renault 5 Turbo and it's quality! Good choice IMO as I think the Jap BOV's are over priced for what they are. ;)

Only one on the 5 Turbo, I think the valve and the fitting kit was about 135 all in. Got it from Demon Twonks in Wrexham. Turbo XS ones are good aswell.

 

I'll probably go for Bailey's for the Z if I ever decide to get some, have an HKS Sequential on the Mister 2 and that's a cracking noise what with the air filter sucking air when you floor it and the dumper going off when you lift...it's class and all coming from behind you, love it!

I found that you do have to be a bit imaginative when doing this job though. Im not the heaviest or strongest person around at 9st so getting the old recirc valves off was tricky. My solution was to tie a strap to them and the other end to my torque wrench and then use my whole body weight for leverage, looked funny but was effective LOL.
