Had to drop my 5 Turbo off for a medical at a main dealer in Reading yesterday and right next door was a Nelson main dealer. So popped over to have a look at the 350Z in the showroom.

Salesman came over and we had a chat. Apparently out of the 400 or so that are annually imported to the UK this year something like 76 will be GT4 limited editions to celebrate the release of the game which features the 350Z! Cool!

I asked him what the differences are and he said 300 BHP, different wheels, piping on the seats and each car comes with a PS/2 GT4 pack. Oh and I think he said a choice of one or two limited edition paint jobs. All for an extra 1K. Bling or what?

What I did think was ironic and I must admit I chuckled to meself on the way out was a Nissan branded with a Toyota badge! ROFLMFAO

found this...somewhere out there

Nissan is asking £29,500 for its faster, limited edition 350Z GT4, which goes on sale in February 2005.

This makes the special-edition coupe £2500 more than a standard GT version.

For the money, buyers get an extra 20bhp. This increase in power to 296bhp shaves 0.1sec off the sprint to 60mph, taking it down to 5.8sec. Its top speed is unchanged at a limited 155mph, although Nissan said the GT4 does sound louder than a standard 350Z.

Besides the standard GT equipment, including leather, electrically adjustable seats and six-CD in-dash changer, the GT4 also has 18-inch alloy wheels that are unique to the car. Buyers also get a PlayStation 2 and a copy of the Gran Turismo 4 video game, which the GT4 is being used to promote.

Of the 176 being brought to the UK, 76 will be finished in a special bright yellow colour and 100 in black. Orders will be taken from 3.50pm on February 1, through Nissan dealerships. First deliveries of cars will be in March.
