John, a while back you were on about getting an LM1 WB02 kit, did you get it logged on your profec? And if so, have you got it plotted against RPM or is it just over time?

I take it the 0-5v output from the LM1 is linear, otherwise it will read *****cks on the profec

Yes, I got the tech edge WBO2 one, works a treat.

It gives a 0-5v 9-19AFR output that I've got on the profec.

I also use the tech edge logging software to log AFR, RPM, MAF volts and TPS. It'll take EGR and charge temp type k couples too, but I'm not bothering now as the profec is going.

The profec will log all 3 displayed channels against time, but you get RPM and AFR together. TBH from a tuning point, the tech edge s/w is better because you can get a matrix of AFR vs RPM and load of some sort.

Ah Dear St. Blingless

What are you going to due with your lamber setup then when you change to the V8 lump, can it all be modified. If you want to sell all your wiz bang wollop bits to run through the profec (Mistical Tunning Language) + prepared to show me how to set it up properly. Then I'll be up for that. Oh great one

Oh and thanks for letting me nick those bits I'll have the others back on it by weekend

Be keeping the lambda setup Mark. Going to use it for full closed loop control on the emerald ECU. The profec just needs an additional harness to log other stuff, it's only about £15.

has it got a safty valve to vent off excess steam or does it go back into the coal scuttle,i tend to think it would go back into the boiler going by the spec sheet

Crikey. An informative technical thread with not a mention of "which is faster? Red or black..." Savour it while you can folks because if you blink, you'll miss it. ;)

John, is there a website for the tech edge kit?

hmm they look pretty good, which one did you go for ? the 2AO or the 2BO, i cant see any real benifits of the 2BO for what I will be using it for.
