My policy is due to run out next week, it covers any car I own upto £10,000. Cost is £650 p/a. and is third party fire and theft.

This includes my Z as personal car.

Anyone know of a better policy for similar wonga?

What do have to provide to be classed as a 'trader' ?

I live in london, full no claims, UK car and pay 620 with Lancaster insurance with legal and breakdown cover as well, also car is garaged.

Ok these Traders policies:

Do they cover ANY car, ie ones with mods etc.

If so I am gonna get me one, coz I got two businesses that make a damn site more money than me!!

Bob your policy sounds what i'm looking for, who is it with, if you don't mind me asking.

I thing insurance is getting to be a rip off and this is the only way around it. I have told my insurance that i am a part time trader ( I import about 8 cars a year for a bit of pocket money and drive a nice car at the same time). I'm no big trader. I do this from home. 6 years no claims.

and i'm getting on a bit 40! I would say this is the best type of policy, i used to always seem to get roped into picking a car up with someone and then get told it's not insured.

now i'm covered I want it as cheap as poss.
