Im boiling down to the last stage of getting me bits for a rebuild, just deciding on me choice of tubs to put on. my t25's lasted a year after a recon got bord with them.

im looking at getting 500rwhp with poss a bit more poke in them, this will be my daily drive, im more interested in faster acceleration than overall top end power. I may as well do the job properly as im going to keep the car for a while.

 

top of my list so far is JWT 530BB (best price on these?)

 

Uprated t28's (not to sure on these)

 

PE 1420 (need more info on these + a best price)

 

HKS GT2530 (need more info on these too + best price)

 

 

If you could recommend any more that would be great, am willing to buy from the states too

 

also the best down pipes to get, whilst the engine is out I may as well do them.

530's will be my choice when i upgrade.

If I was staying with turbo I'd probably go with 530's as well. Be surprised if you get 500rwhp but you'll get plenty.

The GT2530 makes about the same top end power, but looks a little more laggy.

GMS do a GT550 which looks similar to the 530's but a bit cheaper, guess you're not paying for the JWT name.

You might want to look at manifolds too.

You ordered much from that site mate, ever have probs being stung by import tax at all? Just see you can get those apexi DV's from there for 200 quid delivered!
