Assuming you've already checked the tyres themselves (wear and inflation) check the rear shocks. I bought mine knowing they'd need doing- whenever you went over a bump the back end would squirm around. Been superbly behaved ever since I replaced them (lead right-foot aside :D )

Other things- your HICAS warning light stays off does it? May also be worth getting 4-wheel tracking too.

cheers yeah it jumps when accl and hitting a bump ,very scary

Amen definitely do the shocks! Replaced all four on mine and couldn't believe the difference. The rear used to track every tramline and bump in the road - felt like someone had loosened the rear toe link it was that bad...

sounds very familier

new ones orderd

Both.

My hicas was fooked so I stuck a remover in. Was a lot better, but now its obvious that 15 years wears out the other bits too.

best to jack the car up and grab the wheel and give it a realy firm tug back and forth. If you have any movement it will 10 fold when moving.

There should be none. whatsoever.

yep same here guys,

jack the rear of the car up and grab the wheel and try to pull it in and out if there in any play at all hicas arms are worn out!!
