how the HELL do you change the headlight bulb?

I can't see a way without either taking the unit out, or half of the engine :shock:

 

I need the car drivables within the next hour or so :(

Which side mate-not that there is alot of difference but I'm sure it's the o/s that's easier IIRC.Have you got a new bulb? cos they are H3c caps!

On a positive note-yes you can change em' in situ but it's a bugger of a job!

Set?-you should have one that has only two pins on it-is yours a uk or jap?

Don't help I know-pity your not closer as I have two spare since fitting my HID's :(

Just off j27 of the M1 bud in Hucknall-as for the bulb,remove the connector,pull off the rubber boot,look into the hole and you will see a retaining clip-you have squeeze this together and un-hook it from the ally ring.

Then you can remove the bulb-new one goes in reverse order but make sure the bulb is sat correctly-it has a semi circular cut-out and a square one so it only goes in one way!
