speed converter

Has anyone used one of these, its a CK-UN-09 (speed converter/delimiter) 5 wire type but you dont use the grey wire, i have just bought one and want to know if its ok before i fit it, the instructions seem straight forward, i have just got to cut the L.brown/blue wire on the white plug on the back of the speedo cluster and put this unit in line, and hey presto, or am i just dreaming???

you thoughts would be good.

    Bringing this one back up again, as i have had trouble today?

    What i need to know is what colour cable to cut on the white block to insert the converter, i have an early 1990 Auto, i have conflicting information and i want to get this cleared up..... :headvswal
