I've also read on tt.net about the welding tip idea. Does it work & can you only run max boost for 2-3 seconds? Right or wrong ?

Don't think anything larger than 1.0 mm will be any use, they'll give less boost than standard ! 0.6 and above might be useful for the more adventrous though !!!

Andy, i've loads of um if they work whoever want um there free, I buy them by the box load. & melt away 100's. Dont last long at my spray transfer!

 

If i rum out i'll have your 2 mate for work.

Might take you upm on this. Have done some more research and I think that 0.8mm may give too much boost, poss. up to 18psi (kabooooom).

I need to double check what I have first, but I'll probably need 1.0 or 1.2mm

 

 

Haven't you already got an SE boost upgrade Andy?

 

Whip the jets you've already got in there out and have a look at 'em.. See what size they are and go up .2mm say..

As each car varies then they will use an appropriate size to give the boost they want. This is typically about 12 - 12.5 psi. I need check what's in there now and get the next size down in order to run about 14.5psi.

 

I've also just hassled Johnny about a nice accurate Blitz boost gauge. May get an EGT as well to fill the other hole in Smithys a-pillar pod.
