If you are travelling south on the M1 can you just exit at J19 straight on to the A14?? ( i remember seeing some diversion signs a while ago?)

Ta Mate. According to my paper map J 19 is a restricted Junction, but Multimap shows a clear track onto A14. i will be there during friday am rush hour so didnt want to screw up and end up in some Godforsaken place like Daventry! :rofl: :rofl:

Can't remember the junction number but you just head down the slip road, traffic lights at the bottom and straight across onto the start of the A14.

Well dont book any hotel rooms cos you will need to sleep in the car, to prevent the locals nicking it ;)
