Message for Duffo

Hey matey

Thanks for all your help. couldnt get the dip switches set up as i'm not sure idf our cars have a hot wire 0-5v, hot wire 5-0v, Karmen vortex or pressure sensor type air flow/mass meter.

I tried phoning Ian as Johnny suggested but he was busy and his colleague didnt help very much. more pointers pretty please??

Cheers m8

Well I'm guessing a little here, but it's definitely a hotwire and the max voltage is 5.115v (or thereabouts), so I'd guess it's a 0-5v.

thanks very much andyp. i fitted the EBC and AFR and the car is shifting quite well, even with the boost cranked right up!! byut i'm getting bored, johnny is sending out the new turbos for me and i cant wait to fit em!! next stop - BIGGER INTERCOOLER!!!

Question - do our cars have dual port actuators and are they external??

Cheers!!

If you mean the things that control the wastegates then yes, I think so. But you probably need an official answer from the Duffman himself.

Thanks andyp, very much appreciate the help.

Now all we have to do is summon the Duffman ....... (arms and legs crossed) hummmmmmmmm dufffffmmmmaaannnnnnnn!!! ROFL

From the diadrawagrams and my understanding, the actuators are single port external actuators, with internal (to the turbo exhaust housing) wastegates.
