Now I know the Zeds lights are poor but coming back from seing johnny at the G-mex,

the bastards went out all together, I didn't notice on the motorway untill Got to a ulit part.. foooook me , could I hell as find the fuse for the dip beam..so sorry to anybody on the m62 being blinded by a Zed!!

Drivers footwell. There is a picture translation of the jap labelled fuse panel...I will see if can find it.

 

MIne blew when johnny had the car..he had to drive back from Hiteq with outriders.....

I had a look in there but mines a uk version and there was nothing listed for the dip beam.Unless its called something else?

Could be a relay, rather than a fuse.

 

Looking at the circuit diagram in the service manual there are no separate fuses for dipped and main beam. There is just a headlight fuse. The problem sounds like the main/dipped beam relay. I think this is located in the engine compartment on the passenger side....

Yep, just checked the relays in the service manual. The relay you want is the one nearest to the front of the car....

cheers guys I will have a look at that relay in the morning!!

My one packed up and after trying unsucessfully to repair it (I was desperate and they were closed) I got a new one from Nelson. Was about £14 I think.

ps. i found the main beam fuse x2 in the fuse box in the photo above so if there is only one fuse for the lights where is that one???

if it is that relay where how and who's nelson, infact sod it I'll have one anyway,who do I ask to get one of these???

ahh got ya, sorry am just a thick yorkshire oik!!!

fixed mi headlights, but your not gonna believe what it was........ both the bulbs had blown ....bastards!!!!!!

That must have a been a current surge or something...two bulbs simul seems a bit freaky.....
