I take it this must be a common problem but whilst I was at the garage the other day I couldnt help noticing that my rubber door strips were perished....

 

Is there somewhere that can supply these apart from Nissan....they'd probably charge me £100 a strip!!! :nono:

Hope your not wanting the big part its not available at Z certre and is £180 at Nissan

Mark you mean the rubber that goes around the t-bar, the bit up the side of the A-Pillar or the bit on the edge of the t-bar itself?

 

I've got all these bits off my breaker and all seemed in good nick, the car never leaked anyway.

 

You might have to glue them on in places but I think I managed to avoid ripping the bolt holes on the corners.

 

Let me know what you need and I'll price it up nice and cheap :)

Actally giz a price for a passenger seal (round targa down pillar etc), we might be able to do a deal in time for my February shipment and while were at it, what about a passenger side transverse link, shrimpy ?????

I've got a blowtorch now to attack that last bloody bolt, so will remove it this week :) I do have a better socket set with 6 point sockets not 12 but its stuck in my mate Matts boot :rolleyes: in a compound in Northampton after he mashed his car up the other w/e :(

Nice one, thats been off recently to have a new polyurathane bush fitted so shouldn't pose a problem. You dont want the other side to match the "bush newness" do you? ;) Say £30 a side plus £5 postage

Anyone know if that bit is under tension by the spring? I dont think it is but I'll make sure beforehand so I can sort a spring compressor. God I hate suspension lol :p

Errm, the one I WAS referrign to is the outside one that rubs the windows as it goes down.......I could really do with some new glass too as mines all scratched to buggery from all the up and down action over the years!....oooooeerrrrr mrs!!! :D

The strip (the bit you rest your elbow on when cruising? :D ) - I sold one the other week, I think it was the drivers one. So I've got the passenger side
