Just really to get a feel for whats out there and whats putting decent times in....

My mate also took his 3-dr cossie and made a respectable 13.9 with a .7 reaction time, not too bad.....its at around 280bhp.....My other mate in his 52 Seat Cupra R only managed a 15.9, not very good but never mind....

It was a skyline meet as well as a few other clubs, reno 5's and Fiat Coupe's.

I was amazed to see that most the skylines were only getting 14.5's and they looked tuned too.....I thought they would be pushing high 12's, low 13's with some decent mods....but all in all a good (FRICKING COLD) day out.

Onyl 1 zed there which I have seen before, black with Lambo style 5 hole wheels on.......

Think it was a GTO meet too... :duffer:

It was really cold today. Tyres would not be at a good temp to work well so that would hinder a lot of performances.

Would of loved to have been there today!!

Wont be long thou :D:D:D:D:D

How can you go there and not race????? Is yours off the road or something?

Or were you scared ;)

It is at the mo scoops, I hopefully (fingers crossed) will have my manual conversion kit this weekend though so it wont be long.....got so much to do to it though even when the box goes in.......rps max street clutch, aasco flywheel, injectors, pcv valves, plugs, gauges, turbo timer, braided fuel line kit, bodykit and then up to THOR for a tune.....time to see how much boost these turbos and my head gasket can take! ;) :hyper:

That would make sense of it all......although the bikes diddnt let us down.....I still dont think the human body is supposed to move that quickly!! 1/4mile in just over 9 seconds..... :hurl: :hurl: :hurl:

Whereas power would be up up up :P

Hello mate. Andy and Dan were telling me about this at work today. Andy has said before that he'd beat my Z no probs. LOL dont think so! I thought Humey's Cossie would be quicker than that although I have raced the grey Saph thats around here and beaten him (private road of course ;) ). Do you still want that manual gearbox from me?

Yeah I raced that grey sapphire when I was running standard and kicked its ass too!!

Not sure about the gearbox right at this mo mate, just getting some quotes together as to whats going to be the cheapest option. I am tempted to buy a new one! lol

I'll let you know by the weekend....cheers bud....;)

Listening to a lot of the guys on the GTR/Skyline Register (forum) there was a major problem with traction and not being able to get tyres up to temperature. Also, a lot of the cars were only minor modified, I can think of only two high spec cars being there.
