manual box oil cooler set

I'm in the process of fitting manual box and the one I have has the oil cooler, where does it plumb into or is it independant system , has anybody fitted it with their conversion

The oil cooler sits near the rear axle on the drivers side... There's also a pump and the diff also gets a cooler (same one) on certain cars :)

 

It isn't a pumped line from the gearbox so it MUST have its own pump. If you want to run with a cooler you could just run the lines to the front of the car and put it there - put the pump there too where theres more space.

 

TBH there's not much need for the cooler unless you're doing silly high speed runs a lot......

cheers, I think i'll not bother fitting cooler, it has one on the diff, But I thought it would be better to fit all ancilleries as factory standard nissan must have had a good reason to fit it, i just stripped my manual box to inspect it before fitting and it looks mint :hyper:
