Hi Peeps

just a quick few lines to say Hi to you all, keep up the good work. This is my first post, and i collect my 300 T/T tomorrow night, i dont think i will sleep a wink tonight, and bugger knows how i'm gonna work tomorrow cos all i will be thinking of is 18.00hrs when i collect the beast. Its been a long time since i had a 300 T/T (was 1997 and a 1992 uk man car) AND THINGS HAVE CHANGED DRAMATICALY, so i will be on your case asking HOW, WHO and WHATS best to get, a few minor upgrades ASAP.

The first thing i want to do is replace the prop with a solid light weight one peice unit, So my first question is :- Were can i get one? or is it best to get one made? is there a supplyer in the UK?

Thanks for your help in advance.

PS. If anyone needs a helping hand just ask I'm based in the east london essex area, and i can weld, arc, mig and tig. Give me a Lathe and i'll do you a good Turn (Excuse the pun), Many years ago i was a toolmaker, but now (last 10yrs) I'm into Digital CCTV and Telecomunications (Can do a great reversing Camera with night time ilumination, and a 7" screen that replaces your inside car overtaking mirror).

The reversing Camera does away with the mirror, and is replaced with a 7.5" wide, lcd screen, with 2 in puts (can have ps2 or dvd as well) plus the monitor can switch viewing angle 180 degrees.

Will try to come to the meet and say "Hello".

Welcome :) Good luck with the car tomorrow.

The Rerversing camera sound cool, I was thinking of this myself, as I have a 7" in dash screen in my zed. Im interested in the Night time illuminating camera. Sounds just what Im after.

Welcome mate. I bet that first drive will be SWEET! :hyper:

I've not heard of replacing the prop as a common modification. Is it something that's worth doing to all Zs?

In fact, to be honest, I don't know a lot about cars or exactly what the prop is.... is it a drive shaft?

Thanks Paul i will ask him all about it, i should imagine that the carbon prop will sost a fortune, i was wondering if they do one in ally or something ?

Yer the camera works realy good i have a big 4x4 and its all blacked out, and you cant see to good at night when reversing but with the camera its good, the cam i have got is colour during daylight and auto switches to black and white (.1lux) when it gets dark, and it has small IR Lights.

I dont think it was hugely expensive, ally props have a tendency to twist on high power cars

Hi Hexaking and welcome to the Forum.

Those wheels, are they split rims? What with? ie what size tyres are on them and can you get a better photo of them.
