I'm still looking/waiting for a Jap OE spec speed dial... Any help greatly appreciated as really want to de limit

just need the actual 190kmph face - mine was removed and replaced by a crappy 105mph uk spec one... had one on order from dealers but bored with waiting now!

Or do you mean, an 'original' 180MPH UK one?

I hope that all your expecting is a speedo in MPH and not KPH. The speedo will not derestrict the car.

 

To do this you will need a new ECU like the one supplied by Jim Wolf Tech (JWT) or buy a speed limit defenser supplied by someone like HKS.

 

All Jap cars are resticted to 112mph and the UK one to 155mph. I hand a SLD which did the trick but took it off once I got a JWT chip.

simon how much u want for the SLD and how easy is it to fit?

Ours has a OE jap dial on it currently but there is a 105MPH one in the kitchen aswell, the SLD doesnt convert the speedo though does it?

got the de limiter kit etc just need Jap OE dial and I'll slap a MPH sticker on it...

The SLD I had was fitted by the garage I bought the car off. They also fitted a conversion to the Jap speedo so that it now reads MPH instead of KPH.

 

You are right that the SLD does not recalibrate the speedo.

 

I removed it before fitting the JWT ecu. It was only scotch-blocked on and took 5 minutes to remove so with the wiring diagram I'm sure its a doddle. I sold mine to Dave Marley who fitted it to his without instructions!!!

 

I would just get a new eCU as the diference with a JWT and boost jets is awesome and derestricts the car to boot!
