November 11, 200124 yr I need some! After Kemble, my brakes took a bit of a hammeing (it was an all stock system so not ideal). Anyway, where from an how much? Cheers, Andy
November 12, 200124 yr As I have well and truely bedded in my new discs with the soft pads supplied I am looking for some with more staying power and less dust!So after much searching tracked down a helpful EBC dealers who can do single pair of Kevlar Greens (2000 series) for £50:00 + Vat and for a group buy £42:00 + Vat, is this a good deal? sounds ok any one use them? comments / verdict. Jeff TT The guy told me he had a conversation with some tech chaps at EBC who advised him NOT to sell red stuff pads to joe public as when cold the pads (need warming up) may catch out an unsuspecting driver. However EBC have since denied this and say there is not a problem? hhmm. Anyhow he said the red pads are £62:50 per pair or £52:50 for group buy. Jeff TT Guess What. I am an EBC dealer. The guys from EBC will be on my stand at the G-Mex show Manchester 10th / 11th November. Come on guys. Speak to me 1st. Grasshopper Hope that helps Andrew
November 13, 200124 yr ok have been running with redstuff for a motnh or so and i have found no problems once they are bedded in, it is a little worse than stock ont he 1st press or two but after that no problems whatsoever
November 13, 200124 yr Thanks very much Jeff, that must have taken all night to find all of that. Much appreciated!! Think I'm going for Redstuffs as I believe they warm up pretty quickly and I always take it easy when I first get in the car anyway (just to warm the engine up slowly). And after Kemble, I think I need all the stopping power I can get. When I get some big wheels, I think I will be going for the AP Racing big break setup. Cheers, Andy
