As I have...for my sins done a fair few in depth jobs on various zeds I have a fair few write ups done. Is there any particular ones you guys may benefit from? let me know, have recently completed

1)Fold back mirror fix (Jap import)

2)Fog light conversion (jap)

3)Headlamp bulb fix (Uk + Jap)

4)Targa leak fix (Uk + Jap)

5)Loose seat belts fix (Jap)

If any particular write up is required can look in to doing the job as a dummy run on mine and detail it or whatever, over to you guys.

Just as a taster the targa top fix includes the use of a plastic straw and some heavy breathing! Jeff TT

Not trying to take over your thread Jeff but after spending 5 and half hours on the car yesterday, I managed to get rid of the 65+ mph drafts that come from where the very top corner of the doors meet the rubber seal. I.E. Top of the B pillar.

Can pass on details if anyone is interested.

Hi Jeff,

Please let me have the leeking targa write ups. I've been trying to repair it for a while and it's annoying the hell out of me m8.

Errrrrrmmmmm. OK, I have glued the holes/rips on the front rubber seals at the top.........should I have done that? I have a funny suspicion that they are drain holes......please let me know.

Cheers,

Van

Van mate how the devil are u ? took me a moment to recall you user name(dope me )

the targa seal fix is a bit lengthy but will post it up in full with pics, the targa tops rubber section do flatten out as we all know and fail to seal and new ones are expensive and do not always cure the problem.I in fact have a rip in mine now so have to replace any way but there you go, very basically by inserting a syringe in the hollow section of the rubber through the smallest of holes you expand the section and cap it of with a silicon patch (out of site) this gives a greater seal pressure. will take the pics to complete the write up asap.
