PTU Cooler Fan

I have had the odd problem with the PTU when really hot so I found a spare CPU cooler fan and bolted it over the PTU and wired it to a 12v supply.

Shame it's freezing bloody cold now I've got round to this.

I'll let you know it it's worked some time next summer! LOL

    The PTU is kept warm by being bolted to the engine. Don't think a cpu fan would make much difference. If it's packing up when it's hot then it is either a) nothing whatsoever to do with it or b) a physical connection problem inside. This is often fixable.

    If you want to fix the ptu problem there is another alternative... check out the auzzie web site, they now reccomend to relocate the ptu off the engine.
