Wanted: Sunny/Pulsar GTiR

Dont worry, not for me. For my confused friend.

Anyway, if anyone knows of any good examples for sale give me a shout.

Cheers

01925 445446 they usually have 1 or 2 for sale + they'll know if any customers are selling, because it will be a lot cheeper to buy a sorted one in the first place.

Then get ready to get your asse wipped. Even it you had a TT you wouldn't live with one of these little head banging machines up to 60-70ish and a sorted one will leave a standard TT for dead full stop.

mate they aint that good

plus there fecking ugly :D

also your talking about a tuned pulsar where as yes thats fine but we can talk about any car after its been tuned. on how itll wopp any car

Top Gear had a madly tuned skyline take on a tvr cerbera and it was a bit quicker than the tvr. but not worth the money/value of performance compared to the Cerbera.

Id like to see them bring back that skyline and let it take on a Speed 12 TVR... :slap:

do a search and find the japanese guys (best motoring?) test a standard gtir and a standard 300zx, quarter mile I presume.

13.945 gtir

14.602 300zx

done.

mines an swb :slap:

good couple of hundred kilos there!

standard gtir would not beat my car

165mph top end aswell :D

But I've also seem magazine tests with a 13.8 quatermile for stock zed.

Yeah, i lnow they're quick wee things but they still look like inflated micras. They stink! :hurl:

sold mine to buy a zed spent to much on it modifying it but great motors :hyper:

pic is of my old car its now a audiobhan demo car

I believe their failing is an intercooler mounted above the engine - not the coolest place in the engine bay !

Mate I only ever speek from experience and if I don't know something I say so. It therefore follows that in mine and also many other people experience what I said is true about the Pulsars, but before you answer just think, because if you come back and say a standard Z. Be it TT long or short wheelbase. Can wip a sorted Pulsars arse up to 60 mph you will comfirm a veiw I have already taken about your ability to digest what is written and speek BS.

Who TF mentioned Skyliners, TVR's etc. The question was where can I get a Pulsar info for friend.

I reckon Pulsars are well fast cos they are quite light and have a fookin big turbo to boot. Mod one, and it's gonna be well fast accelerating up to 60 or so MPH. Aerodynamics and engine power mean a Zed will then have an advantage. Of course a heavily modded Zed will probably out-accelerate a Pulsar even below 60MPH.

Zed = ~1550 kg ?

Pulsar = 1000kg ? = big power to weight advantage

I know I wouldn't take one on from the lights that's for damn sure lol

But put our cars up in a beauty contest and see what happens. It's all about what you want really. I prefer having a beautiful car that just happens to go like shit off a shovel when you want to overtake. The Pulsars/Evo's Scooby's of this world have one thing in mind, go as quick as they can and sod what they look like so it depends what's more important really.

I know one thing, no matter how quick your motor is, there's always someone out there that's quicker, but I have yet to see a better looking car for 5k that blows 90% of anything that decides it want's to play away :p

Gtir Weight is around 1200kg.

0-60 is about the same as a stock zed, according to all the figures I've seen, as is 1/4 mile.

Traction is their main advantage. In the wet it would kill a zed ofcourse.

But its one seriously ugly hatchback. :nelson: :x:

the words were a sorted Pulsar would wip a Standard Z.

so my point is any modified car would wip equivalent standard car.

hence why I mentioned that Top Gear Video, a modified skyline against a Standard TVR...

my other point is what would have happened if the TVR like a Z was modified!!!

how about you "digest my words first" then Ill think about yours!

anyway didnt want to go off topic just making a point :D

4WD too, these wee things are bullets.

If i had unlimited funds - (6 numbers 6 numbers ;) ) I'd have on my driveway

GTiR, 200sx S15 V-spec, one o them new liners ;) and a bonafide 99' spec Z32-TT

scotty have a looky on the GTiRoc.com forum

Cheers goit/bigmincey!
