buggery *****cks... water pump not broken...

Just finished taking off all the cack to get to the water pump and..... its absolutely fine, 100% perfect, not a hint of damge, seems to be completly mint... NUTS....

 

strange as I had every symptom of a pump failure....

 

Oh well time to start putting it back together...

 

Anybody got a link to an exploded diagram of the pulleys and belts (so I can reference where everything goes back!! rather than just from memory! :D )

 

also where the little key thingie goes in the crank for the under drive pulley, mine was missing so ryan sent me a new one (little semi circle thing) cant work out where it goes though.... :slap:

    EDIT :Cant get it to go to the correct page. Anyway, look at maintanence page 12

     

    and

     

    When you take the pulley off you will see a 'groove' in the crank. Stick it in there, flat bit stickin out. Then line up the groove in the pulley and slide it on.

    cool thanks... just checked the groove is at the bottom, so I couldnt see it,

    yeh just line it up with the keyway took me 15 minutes to work that out LOL

     

    iv got an sgp pulley to go on but never got any key or washer thingy do i need one :confused:
