Electrics dead????

I use my car for work every day and i,ve never had a problem with it being reliable(touch wood). But i tried to start it yesterday morning and the red ignition lights showed really dim for a couple of seconds before going out. When tried re-starting it , it was dead. I put a battery charger/booster on it and it started first time. its not long had a new battery fitted.

I took it out for a spin after and it ran fine without and problems. And it re-started again straight away. But wouldnt start again this morning. Any ideas???

A drain on the power somewhere :S or a buggered alternator

I had a similar thing happen not long after i bought it , turned out to be a loose battery connection

Hope it turns out to be something as simple. :)

on previos card when the ignition light was on dim this usually meant the alternater was knackered. Get a multimeter across your battery teminals while its running, you should get around 14v. if its not then your alternator is dead.
