i got a stillen short shifter and went back to standard shifter didnt get on with it at all!as vijay says mike feeney will be a good bet for replacement oem shifters bushings

My Short Throw kit came with two bushes in the box. It was off ebay tho, not from Luke!

If you need two standard Nissan bushes then I have a pair for sale,cos I didnt use them.

if these are the white platic ones that come with the shifter, just chuck them as they don't fit.

 

They only cost a few quid though for the stock ones

Jaffa, the two unused ones are the genuine Nissan ones from Mike at MJP Eastern Auto. djtomo is going to have them.

The two nylon bushes in the kit I got only needed a little amount of material removing to fit. But maybe there is more than one source for these kits. Mine had the blue/purple colouring on the lower part, but some I saw on ebay were all silver ally coloured

TBH as a newbie to Z32 world I knew nothing about these kits till I saw one on ebay.

It seemed good value at £35.99 so I bought it! An impulse buy??? Well yes, but I spent more than that on lunch for my daughter and me on Boxing day, so WTF?

not having a go mate, though you'd used the old stock ones and still had the nylon ones hanging around.

I have the same kit and intially had some problems after "adapting" (read hacking) the nylon ones to fit. Swapped the old stock ones back in and it's sweet now.

I have a worn pin, anyone got one of these?, I fitted Z centers short shift a while ago now the lever is loose, a mechanic told me that when he changed the engine he noticed the pin was worn, if you compensate by over tightening, the lever gets a bit stiff.
