It came to my attention last night that my profile location and avatar had caused maybe a few people on here offence.

 

I would just like to set the record straight if that's OK with you lot.

 

Right firstly my avatar, incase you're not aware it is the album cover from a Primal Scream album entitled "Kill all Hippies" which in no way (disclaimer) imposes that I would want to kill ALL hippies, maybe just one! :rofl:

 

It's an in house joke dating back to the dark times when there were South Africans and Island folk inhabiting this BB.

 

I am not going to go into detail about it and drag it all up from the past but it refers to a single ex-member of this board who took a dislike to me and many flaming sessions ensued. That's all you need to know as it's all water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned, oh and I do happen to own and like that particular album which is why I've kept it!

 

So any hippy members don't take offence! PMSL :rofl:

 

My location? Phuket? That has been on there for years aswell, that again is my own little joke. I used to say things like "my engine is phuket" meaning "my engine is f\/cked" so you get the general idea.

 

I didn't even think that it would be taken out of context but it obviously is in bad taste after what has happened in Indonesia since Boxing day.

 

So I would like to apologise to anyone who was offended and it has now been changed to something more appropriate.
