when i done the cambelt (z32tt), i noticed oil from around the cam pulley areas, so i replaced the cam & crank seals. i had to remove the covers again & the oil is back (though only around the o/s ex cam pulley) i replaced this seal, but it continues to leak, im wondering if it could be the pulley itself leaking? & if they can, how do you fix it? (not replace surely!)

more than likely the cam cover itself

Yeah sounds like the rocker cover for that cam is leaking and the oil is running forward... Plenum off job to fix...

ive also done rocker covers whilst doing head gaskets, shells etc, though it could be leaking again! i take it the (variable?) cam pulleys cant leak then? i thought they may have a seal or something in to allow the pulley to move freely a few degrees wilst the cam stays still (i noticed this when the belt was removed). removing the plenum is a nightmare, ill just take the lump out first this time, unless theres an easy way!
