Guys I have a dilemma that hoping some of you might be able to point me in the right direction with!

 

I need to get my Renault 5 GT-Turbot transported back to Wales as it's got a running problem. I would use the AA but I did my mate at work a favour a month back and duped the AA into relaying his girlfriends poorly car from a services on the M40 back to London.

 

I just got a quote from CCS at 293 squids! That's to pick the car up from work here in Basildon and then deliver to my house on Anglesey.

 

Does anyone know of any other companies that could do it cheaper?

 

300 squids is a big chunk of cash to me at the moment! :(

Tim,if you are in the AA then use the AA thats what you pay them for,they can't exactly come to your assistance and then say sorry we can't because you called us last week;)

As MAC said, they are providing an (unlimited service) that you are paying for,,,,

 

Having said that, search on EBAY, theyre are quite a few "auctions" on there for Car Transporters...

I think that is gonna be the route to take Andy, just means that at some point I'll have to get the train down to pick the sodding thing up as Friday is my last day in Basildon.
