Hi all,

Oh boy, winter has cometh to the midlands and my zed doesn't like it one bit (neither do I for that matter ...)

Started the car early this morning after a rather cold night (lots of frozen dew everywhere). Was greeted by the familiar smell of petrol ... not too worried ... and left it to warm up a little before making my way. As I was leaving the drive there was a massive CRACKing noise coming from above me and in true Zed ownership stylee I nearly sh*t myself and saw thousands of pounds flying from my already meagre wallet. Fortunately it was nothing as horrific as what my imagination was confronting me with. Aparently overnight the targa's froze to the rubbers and were forcefully dislocated by the flex in the chassis. Phewwwwww ... Took a quick look but all the rubber is fine.

So stopped the car, went back inside, put on a new pair of pants and continued my journey ...

Just thought I'd share this with you all ... only you can understand the fear that every new noise, no matter how big or small, puts into a Zed owner.

Cheers all wink.gif

Danny

Hahaha, I suggest that you wear ear protection then...It'll be less stressful to drive the Zed then... wink.gif

As the matter of fact, I'm always listening to all the noises as well.

It's the best diagnostic system there is! smile.gif

I got scared by the same cracking noise, last year.

My Zed is sitting in the garage now, waiting for the spring to come... frown.gif
