i was cruising around town last night, taking it easy, enjoying the new year festivities and joking around with party goers when some muppet ran a red at a junction and swiped the front of my new car! :mad: its only been 3 days FFS! :cry: :cry: :cry:

 

im just so disheartened now, i cant be arsed with the bloody insurance companies anymore, thy've been messing me around for so long over my old car as it is. now i have to go through everything all over again.

 

the cops came and didnt do much, am gonna go to the station later and report the driver for dangerous. he says im the one who jumped the light, he had also been drinking, but wasnt over the limit.

 

im just gobsmacked, i cant beleive my luck can be so bad :(

 

im praying the car isnt too bad (will post pics later) and that it doesnt take months for liability to be sorted out (tpft insurance)

ask to speak to jane, they will take on your case if they believe you were not at fault, it will bypass your insurance solicitors and they WILL sort it out quicker because of mounting costs. you also get a hire car, this helps speed the process of having your car repaired because the insurance company resent paying 50quid a day. You will be asked to pay a small fee (under £10) which means you are insured against them loosing the claim,

 

 

My accident, I had my car back within 14 days fully repaired and a bill of 3.5k paid for.

 

they only take on your accident if they beleive you are not to blame, and paying the 10quid insurance mean you are covered in case they cannot reclaim the balance paid within 12 months.

yuh tell your insurance company, and then phone up kindertons, basically my claim was settled with kindertons and one week later i got a letter from my insurance company's solicitors with forms to go ahead with a claim, i just told them it had been sorted. Once spoken to kindertons you don't need to deal with anyone else, but your insurance company will need to know, jane will offer you the best advice though really. :)

Mike is definately right. Kindertons were fantastic in sorting out my accident. Supposed to be one of the best in the country. So sorry to hear about this mate, hope it all gets sorted soon.
