:(

The cat overheat light comes on intermitently when driving around.

Sometimes it only comes on above 2000rpm....othertimes it just comes and goes.

It does not always come on everytime i drive but is persistant enough to get me worried.

It will come on even if you dont give it any stick and just cruise.

Are their any reasons for this other than a dodgy knacked cat?

I have a 93 300zx tt Fairlady 2+2 IMPORT.

Its a manual....

Heard rumours of unburnt fuel...

Spark plugs not sparkin...

Loose connection...

Any ideas???

oh yer...HAPPY NEW YEAR :duffer: :hurl:

Yep, loss of spark causes unburnt fuel to get in to the exhaust and overheat the cats. Check the coilpack connectors and the ptu connections...
