My drivers belt, has decided today, that it no longers wants to reel back inside the door, but is quite happy to flop around like a limp thing...

Is this a comman fault, i'm guessing i'll need a new seat belt unit, is it easy to fit ? and does anyone have one they would like to sell ?

cheers guys

Mine failed a safety check with a notch worn into it where it exits the door panel. Its pretty easy to replace once you remove all the screws holding the door panel.Surprisingly cheap as well,I paid about $56 (23 quids). There is a write up on removing the door panel,on the USA Z site I think.

I've got two Jap ones for sale which both fully retract fine.. Will do you the driv one for £50.

If your zed is a UK one it wont fit.

Edit: Yeah easy to remove/replace - door card off then a couple of big bolts :)
