the only thing that put me off EVE is the monthly subscription. most of the time i just dont get the time to get involved for long periods to play games like that! :(

I have Half Life 2, its an amazing game, and I have completed it :)

Half-Life 2 is cool - i bought a new gfx card especially for it but the bugger only works now and then - rest of the time it goes into safe mode :mac1:

im trying it in a mate's pc tomorrow to see if the problem's with my pc or the card.

spoken like a true eve player stu.......how is life in the fountain alliance.........medal of honor pacific sun and cod uo are both very good games also as is joint operations expansion pack

lol - I agree completely! I was making great progress but have got stuck in the big area in front of the pillared building with all the walkers prancing about. There's supposed to be a rocket crate here somewhere but I'm buggered if I can find it :( Just got one walker left to kill and I'm through I think..

 

Any tips appreciated!

Ok, if you look at the pillared building, then look adjacent to the far left there is a building with a door, go in this building and you will find some rockets there. Then when you have run out of rockets go out the same door and run to the centre of the area where you will find a concrete bunker, go in this and you will find more rockets there. I also made some of the guys that follow you go out of the bunker and get killed so that I can have their ammo to if I miss a few shots at the walkers. HTH :)

If you run around the complex to the buildings that directly face the big main building that you just disabled the doomsday device thingy, there is an area of broken wall and there are self refilling rocket crates in here (unlimited)

Yep, do as goit says. My way will only take out two walkers and you are defo going to need self refilling rocket crate!

just one question - is this game supposed to come with a manual?? all i got was a quickguide! theres also no manual on the disc either!?

 

when steam loaded up it asked me if i wanted to look at the online manual - but it wouldnt load up :( i cant seem to get the option back again either!?

No, it didn't ship with a manual mate. Everything you need to learn is presented through the game itself though, so there's no need :) Oh and yeah it is a blinding game :hyper:

I'm a little confused. I was not aware there was any other gane than EVE. Where do i buy this Half Life 2 skill? will it give me my life back? as for the subscription every month. it stops me getting pi$$ed during the week. Everyone should try this game. I used to call people geeks who played online games, now i am one of those geeks.

im 1 year 8months into eve now thats 20x£14.99 i could have bought maccas car with that kind of dosh but then again wouldnt have had nearly half as much fun..........get training those skills currently training caldari battleship lvl5 27 days left

EVE - its a massive online space game remenisant of good old Elite if im not mistaken
