Turbo problem?

Happy Christmas all..

Anyway, when I start my 90 zx tt up, the boost needle sits on the 1st thick line(2nd line altogether) on the boost gauge. (Jap gauge, -7, a thin line, a thick line, 0, a thick line, a thin line, to +7). Is this right.

When warmed up it sits slightly closer to the -7. Do I have a problem? Is it a sign of impending turbo doom?

    when its not under boost it should show -7 which is vacume.A good engine should produce a good vacume.If u do have a problem its unlikely to be the tubs more likely engine probs.However the standard gauge is crap and more probably at fault try a after market one.
