Just had a trip in my mates new M Coupe.

 

Very impressive performance and it's the very first time I've been truly amazed by stopping power. Shiiiite but the brakes are good. I wish the ZX's were just half as good.

 

Ugly little bugger but theres something very appealing about the Coupe. I think it would actually leave most Zeds for dead!

Not my Caterham though!!!!

had a go against one of those on the A1 a couple of years ago, when i first got my Z.

 

neck and neck up to about 130, then we both slowed.

 

sounds the same was as when Hairsy and me had a go recently with his Chimaera

i whooped one bad

 

he he i dig those cars they are very nice,

if all things go well i should have a 4 piston caliper and 320mm brake kit very soon.

A good friend of mine had one prior to his current motor - a Z8 and I had a loan of it for 3 weeks when he was on holidays. It is a very fast car, and is noticably quicker than a Z up to a ton, brakes are truely phenominal, but the chassis is dangerous, it is the one car I have driven that is worse than the 300zx in wet weather, and when the tail lets go, you'd want to be a very good driver to catch it, as another friend of mine proved when he planted it into a wall, causing £15,000 worth of damage (ouch!)

I think it's a good thing that they produce cars that are true 'Drivers' cars.

With all the guff like ESR and traction control it can take the fun out of it.

 

Sure the Z3M is a bit twitchy but better you respect it than get a dull car.

 

Having recently wrestled with thidea of replacingmy Zed with a company car and the restrictions the new tax structure imposes I can't believe how boring the cars are for the best part of 30K. Who needs sleeping tablets when you can read an Audi brochure!
