i spoke to internet security at Barclays today guess what

they said there is nothing they can do and if you enter your details and loose money tough they wont pay it back as you should of checked it was the correct secure site

i said but they are reproducing your logo which must have a copywrite or something for which you could take police / legal action ... well we could... but this... but that.... but the other...

i cant belive they can't get it shut down ??

This is very concerning.

wow, i use that ocasionally to check my acount and the fake site is an EXACT copy!

i always use the full https ibank address though

Very dodgy, can't believe they wont take it down, any ideas on how we can crash the server? ;)

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT use internet banking.

I could go on as to why not, but would take too long. Basicaly they are not safe, how unsafe? The security IT personel at 3 banks in teh City do not use internet banking because its unsafe. If they wont use it, why should we.

You should report them to the Agency of Bankers that will soon get them to do something about it. :nono:

sorry m8

but internet banking is as safe as any IF you have proper security on on your computer, and are not a complete numpty about who you give your details to,

also you are insured against fraud (as long as your not involved or again are totally negligent) i feel far safer using internet banking than handing my card over in a restaraunt etc, do you use paypal? as i'd say online banking is safer

but it's like anything m8 take precautions and it's as safe as you allow it to be;)
