Just like to say Hi to everyone I got my Z of ebay a fortnight ago it was the SWB TT, black one with 19" OZ superleggas on!

didnt get a bid so I snapped it up (chap started bidding a bit high)

 

This is the best purchase anyone could make(as you all know)!! The amount of looks I get is great and people talk to me at petrol stations etc about the car bloody brilliant. :bow:

 

a bit about my car

 

its an SWB twin turbo done 50k runs very smooth just had a brand new auto box with 12mths warranty.. which has a slight jalt going into drive but there sorting it for me (excessive line pressure!) runs great though after its put into drive

 

its got 19's and is very low thats the only mods

 

looks awesome! :rofl: :hyper:

 

as I havent got a workshop manual yet how much oil does the engine need is it 4.5 litres like my dads V6 rover 800??

 

any other hints tips etc anyone can give me is much apprecciated for servicing etc and keeping the engine quiet.

 

Oh and for any young Z wannabes its cost me 2250 pounds to insure through Elephant.co.uk phoned about 20 so called specialists beforhand

 

21 yrs old 1 no claims! never claimed driven for 4 yrs TPFT

 

the car does about 18 to the gallon and I do loads of pointless journeys ;)

 

looking forward to getting the membership and coming to a few meets :bow:

Best Tip I can give is to pay up and become a susscribed member :D you will get a lot more out of it includeing discounts from our traders etc. :bow:

I ended up paying 4k for it still very much worth it to me. :rofl:

 

the chap wanted a bit more ... I first spoke to him when he put it on. he said he'd want so much for it and I had this funny feeling people may have bidded and it gone up to 5k so I just bit the bullet and met him half way. :D

 

DOes anyone know if my seats are heated as there electric I know usually theres a visible switch etc but I also know that I keep finding different gizmos everyday and just wondered if nissan hid the swith or something unusual :confused:

As said before mate, get to a mids meet, next one will be 19th jan, unsure of location as yet but there are some lads that turn up with a wealth of knowledge. Z looks corking BTW.........Welcome to the SWB club! :D

Bit cheeky of the seller, but still a bargain.

 

Heated was an extra option on top of Electric for Jap Specs. If you have it then the switch for heated seats is in the same little panel as the Electric mirror switches.

I will deffinetley be at the meet where ever it is count me in.

 

make sure theres a garage on the way though where I can personally clean me car as it dont half get dirty :rofl:

What you said about the petrol stations is true, you either get the chavs staring at it or some brave little chavs venture over and ask you "Ow fast does at go then mate?" :lol: Then you get the other guys (or girls) giving you a smile or a nod. Brilliant feeling :) Brilliant car :bow:

Whats the ride with 19's like?...i been in motors with 18's on and felt a bit jarred about...anyways happy zedding...:)

to be honest all my cars have been lowered with wheels so I wouldnt know what I was looking for for ride comfortability wise it seems very smooth to me apart from the 35mm tyres which if you hit a ditch etc you dont half feel it!!!

 

I may not have all five of the most wanted 300zx musts!!

 

but beggars cant be choosers in the second hand market although Im quite fond of an auto now I own one!! :hyper:

 

and I do have 19"s :D
