what size water hoses and how much will I need to do the throttle body by-pass?

5mm silicone or 6mm rubber, less than 1m in total.

to do the water bypass you will need 8mil internal dia hose I would also not use Vac tube as it will not hold water with high temps

8mm? Where are you bypassing them?

I did mine from under the back of the plenum, straight onto the turbo feeds.

Definately 6mm fitted there. Silicone hose is OK -20 --> 180°C roughly so should be fine. No leaks from mine anyway.

well you learn something new every day :hyper: :D , in the ones i have done i have always used 8 mil water hose as i did not think silicone would be up to the job , would certainly make life easier to use silicon hosing though

Out of interest, has anyone else done this with silicone hoses and had (or not had!) problems?

less pipes to leak under the plenum, and consensus is that there is no point heating up the TBs.

The 8mm pipes would be tougher though, you wouldn't want something constricting them :)
