Hi,

Went to the works christmas night out last night. We always do this thing where all the names are chucked in a hat and we select 5 people.

Next we select 2 drinks they can have all night, only these 2 drinks are allowed, nothing else except the occasional glass of water. I normally drink lager and whisky, but what did I get ???

 

Cider and Advocaat ?!?!

 

I know for a fact that I went through 2 bottles of Advocaat in the main pub and cant remember how many other glasses I had in the following pubs, as well as the cider ?? How do I feel ?????? :duffer: = :hurl: :hurl: :hurl: :hurl:

 

Never had a day like today in my life !! NEVER AGAIN !!!!

 

So whats the strangest or most revolting thing you have ever drunk ??

 

Even the thought of scrambled egg smells like Advocaat !! :hurl: Again..

Two Iron Bru bottles full of my mates 'home brew' - apparently 1 bottle of it was equivalent to 8 pints of lager (old style glass bottles)

 

I conked out, literally fell over forwards into a Hedge as I drank the whole 2nd bottle in one go as a dare

tequila and chilli powder in shots from the water front just out side Birminghan :hurl: :hurl:

Absynth, definitely. Got some from Portugal at 78% proof. I don't like aniseed flavour anyway, but the Absynth is so strong that drinking it seems to flick a switch and instantly make you retch. Did me anyhoo.

 

Had about 4 shots within ten minutes - and I must haved been drunk, 'cos I couldn't lie on the floor without holding on!!!

Some south african stuff than looked like flat coke but was 80% vol and burned all your insides to pieces!

hapsburg absinthe 85% vol not nice

are you ment to add water to it?

tried drinking it straight but its made the first layer of skin peel of my lips :shock:

I dont actually know what it was but it was called '181' I think the name had something to dao with the strenth/proof :confused:

 

But needless to say, it came from some country with no laws :D

 

There's not a lot i remember of that day or the following week, TBH it tasted quite nice but the next day, i couldnt speak as couldnt my mates who had some aswell!!!

The worst tasting drnk was garlic vodka, instant barf juice.

 

Strough rum is pretty rum, 80% vol from somewhere in Europe. I also had Barbed Wire in South Africe, 80% also but pineapple flavoured and actually quite nice considering.

I bought some of the locally brewed rum back from the Dominican Republic, its called 151, because its 151% proof, I think the locals run thier mopeds on it!!

Drank a bottle of it one night in the summer, NEVER again!!!

List is pretty long, 6 years in teh infantry seems to do that to you. However.

 

Whole contents of a tabasco botle, Crushed worm( i think it was a worm, may have been a beetle), Amareto, polish spirit, Cuban dark rum which they run their cars on and to top it off Gob.

Drinking the ashtray!! :hurl: That was always a good old fav in the bar. Baileys and lime....... :nono: thats a good way of making you day. Another one was called a "mudflap", carn't remember exactly what it was but i think it involved vodka, tia-maria baileys and coke. When you put the coke in it fizzed up and you had seconds to drink it before it set :cry: :hurl: . There are a few involving bodily functions but it's christmas and i won't spoil things LOL. Merry Christmas everyone!!

had my stomach pumped wont drink vodka or cider although i do like a pint of strongbow from time2time :D

Red Witch for me....pint of cider with a pernod and blackcurrent.....3 pints max for me and i was buckled...but i was only 18 and i aint ever touched that again

Im only 17 so have quite a few years to catch all you oldies:D up but my worst 1 so far was:

 

2shots of blue aftershock, 2 shots of red aftershock, 2 shots of vodka, then topped up with a bottle of smirnoff ice

 

2 pints of this and my memory was wiped for 3 hours, but i did get aquanted with the tiolet floor in the bar for about 2 and a half hours.

but had a period as a 14-15 year old on white lightening and can't touch that now, same with JD + coke, instand barf at smell. Baileys the same, aftershock = sick also

 

infact i can't drink any spirit without serious consequences due to serious abuse as an underage drinker. I keep to blackthorn and stella now :D:D:D

 

had a drink called brain hemerage once, **** knows if i know what was in it, I do remember waking up covered in blood afterwood though, **** knows whos that was

cider and gin - not a good idea ! The smell of gin was nauseating for months after.

The blackcurrant curdles the Bailey's and makes it go lumpy.
