Clutches....

I had a new clutch fitted esterday, the old one was slipping like crazy.

 

The guy recommended that I had the flywheel skimmed as I had a slight judder when pulling off in 1st. Only cost an extra £40 and the difference is fantastic - feels like a new car again.

 

Anyone else had to have this done with a new clutch. Also how much is a reasonable price - I paid £400 all in, for a 3 piece with 2 year warranty.

    I would have said that skimming the flywheel is virtually mandatory when fitting a new 300 clutch. Glad you went for it!
