After a spark plug failing on me minutes before a potential buyer came round to look at my zed, I decided to put it back up for sale after running it round fine for weeks. Once again minutes before someone came round to look at it, the fooking immobiliser relay burnt out and cut off the fuel pump. I found that the tw@t who fitted the Scorpion alarm 6 years ago had put the relay on the load side instead of on the coil side of the fuel pump relay. It lasted for 6 years and picked that hour to fook up. I could quite easily have torched the Z there and then. I don't do the lottery. :mad:

I have always had similar trouble after selling a car.

 

I've always lavished attention on them and have never had any trouble with most of my cars. But the day after I sell them......... :x:

LOL. Sometimes I wish it was an Austin 1300 at least it would be easier to fix! I could always keep it and see if it'll do a lap on Anglesey circuit.
