Power button ??

I think it makes it hold right to the red line before changing up a gear. And a 'power' light comes on the dash.

 

If you floor it, the 'power' light should come on anyway and it'll act like you'd pressed the switch as well.

    Hold (IIRC) will skip out 1st gear and so, like Craaaaaaig David said, is best for snow, rain, low petrol (in the tank not on the road!!!!)
