Having given the Zed a good clean today I have noticed under all the dirt that some tosser has decided to make a few body mods to my car and pushed in the drivers side front wing very slightly :slap: . It is bugging me so badly that I have gotta get it sorted. I am guessing the cheapest way is to source a second hand wing in the same colour as my car and fit it.

 

Just wanna know if its an easy job or not. Is it just a bolt off, bolt on jobby?

unbolt, but it does involve at least unbolting the front bumper. More tricky than techy, but easy enough. Beware the two bolts at the bottom of the wing , they are a bugger if they are rusty and you can easily tear the wing (guess how I know?)

Front bumper doesn't have to come off to get the wing off ;) Although it is much easier to see where the bolts are. Should be the usual bolts along the top, two that go through the front bumper under the headlamp (remove the outer corner lamp unit first 2 philips, then remove the inner lamp unit 3 10mm nuts on the back of the bumper), then there's one bolt at the very front of the wing where it bolts to the chassis. Then there's one behind the door mirror on the door pillar, and 2 on the sills. That should be it :) Don't forget to remove the side repeater too LOL...

Chunnk, I will post on here when I have got it all sorted. Might be a while though as I am first gonna have find a red wing and then work out how I am gonna pay for it with all this unwanted Xmas expense:(
