Having paid quite a lot of money to a local mechanic for head gaskets and turbos replacement work, who normally does a good job ( on the mundane stuff anyway ) I noticed a lack of ummph when on boost. When I looked under the bonnet I found that there were two connectors left undone - I think they are AIV solenoid valve and EGR control solenoid valve but I dont know which is which! I also found that the air pipe from the EGR valve was not connected at the plenum and that there are two electrical connectors not connected to anything lying just above the EGR valve!!! I confronted the garage owner who apologised and said that the he had fired the guy that had put my engine back together and did not know where the connectors or the EGR pipe should connect to. HELP! I am hoping to borrow a digital camera at lunchtime and find a host and post up pictures of the connectors but in the meantime if anyone knows...
Thanks,
Ian.
