I flashed my headlights at someone in a supermarket car park yesterday.

As I did so, my speedo swept right up to 180, then back to the true reading (of not much).

Is it trying to tell me something or should I just ignore it?

Cheers!

What headlight bulbs you running, sounds like they gave a massive Power increase

I dont know about the Zed specifically, but something like that can be the sign of faulty diodes within the clocks....or I guess it could indicate a dodgy earth somewhere.

I wondered if it was a diagnostic thing.

I know Yamaha R1s indicate problems with the speedo / tacho.

But maybe not the Z then!

you need to concentrate on your driving and not get distracted. youve obviously given it too much throttle, a ton eighty in a super market car park is a major no no!!!
