I want to keep the car as standard as possible but my rear spoiler is now starting to come away from the boot lid where the Fairlady sign is supposed to be. Is it the frost or excess rain? What can I do to stop it happenning again?

The boot lid is really heavy so I know it's full of water.

What to do ?

Get a fireglass stock looking replacement from the Zcentre.

Seconded :D

The stock item absorbs water which will then leak into the tailgate and rot it from the inside.

Mike Feeney at MJP also sells them. It's a much better alternative as the boot opens easier because it's lighter than before....

.....no water absorbtion :D

mine has the fiberglass oem style rear spoiler and its deffo lighter, didnt know it had it till somebody pointed ot out to me

Got to say if you want it standard, Luke will sort out the FG one as everyone is advising, I was doing the same untill I talked to luke and ended up with a new esprit type spoiler that he was doing, thing is, it was actually cheaper! anyway at the end of the day its what you want isnt it.
